Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is an avid film critic who reviews Z-graded films that are mostly of the martial arts or horror types. Her style of review and methodology are very similar to The Cinema Snob. However she is more inclined to watch silly action movies and has a fascination with the morbid. After gaining some fame in the forums of Channel Awesome (under her previous username Obscurus Lupa), she began to review in late 2009. She continued to be a member of the channel from January until the beginning of 2015 after which Obscurus Lupa Presents changed into Movie Nights. The channel also hosts two podcasts on her channel that both cover the Charmed franchise, and they both co-host alongside Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Watch her videos on YouTube and Vimeo. Her videos on Twitter and Tumblr. If Allison isn't enough for you? Ninja the Mission Force shows her in action playing Interpol Ninja Cheetah. Brad Jones' film Jesus Bro! was also featuring her. The role of a guest in Midnight Screenings is a regular event. The show reviews horrible films aimed at children, RiffTrax and live shows. It also occasionally features adult-oriented comedy. In 2009, after reviewing films, she gained fame on Channel Awesome's forums. Before becoming part of the official group that comprises Channel Awesome reviewers, she was a household name. Her appearances have been in numerous Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. She appeared on many episodes of Nostalgia Critic and was a former member of the family that Channel Awesome had together with Doug Walker.
