Stella Maeve (born in 1961) is an American actor who is best known for the outstanding actress on Julia Wicker who appeared on The Magicians. Maeve was Native American. She is native to New York. She's a mix of Blackfoot and Cherokee. In 2005, she made her debut on screen in the film Liminality. The following year, she appeared for the very first time on the big screen in the highly acclaimed comedy-drama Transamerica. In that same year, her first TV appearance was on a season four episode of Law & Order Criminal Intent. Nadia Decotis was her role in Dick Wolf's Chicago franchise Chicago P.D. . She portrayed her character up until 2015. In 2016, she returned to the part in Law & Order Special Victims Unit a TV show which is part of Wolf the second series.
