Arike Ogunbowale

Arike ogunbowale (born 2nd April 1985) is an American professional basketball player. She plays for Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. She was a college basketball player with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Wings were drafted with five selections in this year's WNBA. Arike Ogunbowale's parents Yolanda Ogunbowale & Gregory Ogunbowale were born March 2nd 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Her brothers are Mario (26 and 26 years young) and Dare Ogunbowale (20 years old). As the youngest family member, her parents provided her with the best treatment. Gregory was the Nigerian Army officer for a long period of time. Ogunbowale has a very active family. Her mother Yolanda played softball at DePaul while her brother Dare was football player. She played for her aunt in volleyball at UAPB, and Endia is a volleyball player in Tennessee State. Ogunbowale was listed on her institution's Honour Roll for three years consecutively. She also received recognition for her achievements in high school with various accolades. Arike earned her degree from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School which is in Arike's hometown. As a student at the school, she also participated in three seasons of varsity soccer. Ogunbowale led her school to stunning victories with her exceptional skills multiple times. Through her time at high school, she has started 73 times and has 1,477 total points. There are 739 rebound. Ogunbowale won the gold medal at the 2013 the FIBA Americas U16 Championships in addition to the 2014 World Championships of FIBA U17. The 7th of July 2014 was the day she was named to the 2014 USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale was named on the ACC All-Freshman Team following her first year of collegiate basketball. Kobe Bryant has congratulated the youngster after she made several spectacular shots during the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale's basketball career has gotten starting off well and she is expected to continue in that direction. Arike ogunbowale is believed to be worth $5 million, according to an unnamed source.
